Weldon 200B End Mill Sharpener Village Press
Feb 23, 2006· I have what I think is an older Weldon 200B end mill sharpener. It does not appear to be equipted with an air bearing. The friction on the shaft is intermittent and I am not sure what is going on. Sometimes the shaft will spin quite freely and then will act gummy. There is a tag on the fixture that says do not lubricate. There are two small nylon plugs on the top of the body.

I have accumulated a bunch of high quality brand name end mills that simply need the ends sharpened due to chipping and for a long time I have been considering a grinding fixture. Recently I have had access to a surface grinder so I am going to buy a fixture and try to reclaim some of these end mills but I see two different types, although they seem similar in use.
